PLEASE HELP! V-Star 1300 engine problems. I have a 2007 Yamaha V-star 1300 Custom. It starts up fine and shifts fine, but when I'm releasing the clutch it makes a horrible grinding noise. I've checked the oil level and made sure the bike's in gear, the grinding doesn't happen in Neutral but in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd it's happening consistently.
