It's frickin' great. BUT. There's one problem. To run games, I need to fire up Yuzu, then choose the game from the little Yuzu app Window, then choose Full Screen from the little app window menu bar. With Cemu, and many other emulators, I can link directly to the roms/games from the Steam Home Screen, and then fire them up directly.

Thanks. goto desktop mode, open yuzu and right click the game, open mods directory. There you will drag and drop your mod folder then restart yuzu. Once you restart you right click the same game and go to properties and check what mods are active or not. make sure you dont have anything you dont want active ex: ultra widescreen support.The best way would likely be to run reshade globally across Vulcan since that's what yuzu will likely be rendering in. They have a guide on the sub iirc to install reshade on Vulcan globally to apply to all games, then you can just specify what you want. I'll edit in the link in a couple minutes.

With my emudeck install I've added another switch folder to store games i want to run on ryujinx (I've called this folder switch-ryu). Then i point the parser in Steam rom manager for ryujinx to that folder. That way it'll save the correct launch parameters for the games i want to run in yuzu or Ry. Doesn't let you choose like you want though. 1.

I don't see one launch file for Yuzu emulated games. I installed within the Yuzu app using the NSP file. But the installed directory within Yuzu then does not include one executable of any form. Not sure about that, my Switch roms are .xci format and i just added them as roms like any other system.

Same issue as you, Found the fix. I had to open yuzu in steam desktop, then open speaker on the desktop bottom right menu. click applications and Yuzu is muted by default. I unchecked mute and booted back into steam deck game OS.
