should be able to place it regular, but just wont work. I've had luck with removing conveyors before placing a T2 drill. The drill wouldn't place with the output facing the conveyor. If you start with 100% and have -50% from pipes, you sit at 50% pressure. If you start with 200% and have -50% from pipes, you're still at 100% pressure. #3.
