G30s vs g30sf.
For me, a G36 conceals a little better than my previous fat G26. But I prefer the G30S for 2 reasons: It carries 4 more rounds, and it fits my hand better. I feel less of a need to carry a spare mag with the G30S than I did with the G36. Both shot/shoot the same, equally well for me.
The G30S is a G30SF frame topped with a slimmer, lighter slide and smaller O.D. barrel originally designed for the G36 single stack 45ACP pistol. 2. 2610G. 35 posts · Joined 2013. #5 · Oct 26, 2014. The slightly wider grip of my G30s fits my (averagesize) hand better than my G26 does. The 26 can be fired at a faster rate than the 30s due to lower recoil, but I carry the 30s more often. They conceal about the same.

No Subcompact slide assembly (G29, G29SF, G30, G30SF, G30S) is compatible with a Standard frame assembly (G20, G20SF, G21, G21SF) regardless of generation. The G30 is an incredible and capable platform, but there are a few different versions and you need to know what each one is capable of. The G30S is an incredible carry gun, but it has very little aftermarket support (when compared to other Glocks, lol), but changing calibers is difficult because of the G36 slide..
