To make a long story short, the G30 quickly became my favorite Glock. My test sample never went back—I sent a check to Glock and bought the darn thing. It was to be the first of a series of compact Glocks in .45 ACP. I've had the 3" xds .45 and still have a 30s. I didn't care for the feel of the Xds and I didn't like the trigger. The 30s felt much better to me and was naturally easier to control with follow ups. Once I had some time with the 30s I traded the xds.
