That being said, CarMax’s warranty is legit and for any car, I’d suggest it just because it is so good. As others have said, it is a BMW underneath. So while on a third gen you’d be very unlikely to have a major mechanical failure, the warranty would likely pay for itself if you ever did. Max care is solid for sure.
