Jan 24, 2012 · Yes, you can use a 4.25" stroker crank for a 351W in a 400. However, you need a specific timing chain set that is made just for this swap. You CANNOT mix and match components to "make your own" set because the 351W crank sprocket has a different tooth count. I run a Windsor 4" forged crank in my 400 so it can be done.
