My advice is to pick your ammo type first then get the choke to match that. I shoot a rob Roberts 655 out of my SBE2 (same gun as the 3) with 3" magblends and average 220ish. That choke and ammo combo works very well in that gun. If you wanna shoot longbeards instead then Ive had great results with Indian creek 660 or a kicks 660.I have a ported heavy choke .676. It does throw a tight pattern in close, but most chokes would if you want a good longer range pattern. 650 is really tight and didn't even work well with my WLB #5. I think Indian Creek makes a good choke also for the 835, but I would stick with more open no matter the choke brand.
