Professor Gallup is a fantastic instructor. I loved this class. He is a caring professor who students can turn to for guidance in their academics, as well as in their careers. He is easily one of the top professors I have had at PSU. I highly recommend taking this class. Ask lots of questions, because he is extremely knowledgeable and passionate.
He takes the time to answer questions. But virology is a hard topic so you will have to study all those single and doublestranded DNA/RNA viruses.
