Everyone was courteous and helpful from check in, to ticket sales, shuttle driver and security at the gate. If one chooses to stay on the property there are different pools to choose from, basketball and tennis courts, shuffleboard, and restaurants on site. I think the pool at the Sheraton is a bit more fun as it has large waterfalls cascading into the pool. The layouts are pretty much the same along with the activities. The Grand Vista has a very nice restaurant on site at the golf course. It's an Awsome property! Going back in July, and thinking about trying Holiday Inn Orange Lake for something different, but will probably wind up back at the Vistana. Just called for rates and it's $60.00 a night higher than last year but still a great deal for $185.00 for a beautiful two bedroom condo.The key differences came down to size of resort. Villages is smaller and therefore has fewer facilities than the larger Villas Resort. For example Villas has seven pools - more than the Villages Resort offers. If you’re not spending much time on the resort then the extra facilities won’t make much difference.
