Knock it out, give it kibble or prime meat or mutton. Best way to go about it is build a trap and lure the griffin into it via pteranodon. Then knock it out and feed kibble/prime meat/mutton. Make a stone gate trap (just like how you tame an argy) lure it in by shooting it with a tranq dart and close the doors to trap it.
