Moonveil sucks all the fun from the game. Use whatever you like. Even with the buff to dark moon greatswords ash of war, moonveil is better in most situations due to its speed. The darkmoon greatsword ash does do more damage though and is a better boss killer but the moonveil offers room for mistakes.
