The newer DPF is less restrictive. The possibilities are endless. International once had a great rep for service, the Maxxforce series changed that for certain.
The guys at Brattains IH said Nstar is still making the 9.3L engines with SCR after treatment , said the new engines are called N9&10. Said they're trying to disassociate with the Maxxforce name, mainly because of the MF13 problems. Guess they made tons of the 13's for the over the road market.
Hello all, I have a 2013 Maxforce having low boost. I checked the actuator and it works so then. I plugged the Actuator to see if that make any difference. I am having about 7 psi more boost after plugging it and it pulls good on hills too and also as soon as the turbo kicks in I hear screeching sound. Now i can not do any regen because i get fault: fault SPN 5319 FMI 31 DPF incomplete Regeneration This fault is block regen, i am sure with that because i istalled this ECU on twins and get same problem with working DPF system with another truck.
