After quite a bit of fault finding, we hooked up a timing light and saw the ignition timing was about 30 degrees too early. Engine tick while running/clunk when turning off. My yamaha warrior 350 has a ticking noise coming from the top end of the engine. Also, when I turn off the atv with the key, there is a clunk/pop noise that occurs. However, I figured out that if I held in the clutch and released as I turned off the atv, there would be no noise.
