Um, I beat this fight on normal, underleveled and did none of this. Didn't hack either. I just played smart on my second fight. My team was Makoto, Haru and either Ryuji or Yusuke. The fight was annoying and difficult, but once I knew the gimmick it was over. I finished the fight with I think 8mins and change left.

I’d recommend going to atleast lvl 45. iirc 41 is on the low end, but possible. If you're playing on Hard I'd suggest 45 to give yourself some leeway. I think the general recommended level was 10 per palace. I'm playing on normal actually. I'll probably grind to 43 and then try the fight.
