I have a first gen Zune and I am using Windows 11. Got the software running, but it isn't seeing my device. Went into device manager and Zune is showing up there under 'other devices' but can't get the drivers to install. You should see a very faint battery icon (easier to see in low light). It will not actually power on unless the battery can hold at least a small charge. It could still be a charging port issue but more likely it's a defective battery given the Zune's age.
