Roninzeta 1 year ago #5. They didn’t just nerf it, they killed it. It doesn’t do enough damage to be used for that, and the poise damage is so low now, that’s barely a factor. If you can kill an Omen with FotR before it staggers, then forget it. Just use something else. It’s just for clearing groups of weak enemies now.

What I was saying in my previous comment is that I think stance breaking should indeed scale with the weapon weight and the stre of the character. The ashes of war I'm testing with are flaming strike and flame of the Redmanes, both seem to do less damage with a flame ash of war. Even if the damage on the sword gets increased by a lot. ... The only utility of Flame of the Redmanes was it's poise damage. It's slow, has low damage, poor range and often times whiffs with it's wonky hitbox. It also has virtually no use in PvP.
