We chose the standard 3-9x32 scope for small game hunting.

Henry pump magnum I've had a Henry .22mag pump for two years now, accuracy has been great and the action has smoothed out a good bit with use. But the small game sights are really more effective than the buckhorn sights. The action isn't as light as as other rimfire pumps because of it's mechanism but I can still rack off rounds pretty quickly.A .22 magnum chambering tool will clean the barrel out so the rifle will take the magnum rounds correctly. This will take care of the problem most of the time but sometimes the carriers will be bent or broken in these magnum rifles because people have tried to force feed .22 long rifle cartridges through the action.
