Jeep wrangler carplay not working.

The antenna is working. The signal is being transmitted to the radio. but the output from the AM/FM receiver is not being received by the amplifier. I've ordered a new radio and it will be installed next week. Sometimes going into settings on phone and manually connecting phone to device on either BT or WI-FI will fix. Sometimes turning both WI-FI and BT off and back on on iPhone fixes it.
