The deer got spooked and ran a mile away. so that took me about 45 minutes of tracking and stealth, then when I went back to the camp again becuase the story requires, I read the note on the tent that gunther was in. For the wounded reindeer mission, go to the camp and look on your map. You will see the highlighted area where the mission objective is located. Place a waypoint marker in the center of the marked area and from the camp, crouch (use anti-odor spray) and just head for the center marker. You will run into the reindeer. You will also hear its calls.
The track indicators are the only thing showing the track. Come Devies you dudes put so much effect into Medved, don't let this silly bug ruin it.
