I had the gear case professionally painted by a friend over 20 years ago. It has trip 275s. I am going to do the Whipple stage 2 upgrade soon for the advertised 65 hp gain. I will prob send everything to them next month. The way the boat is propped now at WOT I run 62 and about 6100 rpm. DoesHey Scott, the setup is good. The Evinrude had a little too much setback (6" more than the Merc). So it runs a little flatter now, where it used to feel real light in the bow.
