The only way to fly is the usual monk dip here which is mainly so you can activate crane stance and get a lot of defense for 1 level cost ...Basically, Kineticist has a lot of good 2A abilities that don't use the attack trait. You want to pair that with a class that has a lot of action freedom. Monk is really good at that because being able to Flurry -> Impulse is very handy. You won't be doing Elemental Blast much, but you'll want to leverage a lot of the 2A impulses.
