I had FFEL loans, way over 120 payments, been in public service since 2002 and never expected forgiveness. A friend told me about the waiver in late October and I consolidated in November.
Beginning May 1, 2024, these programs will began transitioning to ED and will no longer be managed by MOHELA. To allow for the transition of the PSLF and TEACH Grant Programs to StudentAid.gov, the processing of all forms is temporarily paused starting May 1, 2024. You're most likely to wait some time, then get a count by old rules first (which will be wrong), then after another waiting period, you'll get a waiver count.FINALLY : r/PSLF. r/PSLF. •. LastGnerve1. Months before the consolidation and any other months requiring the PSLF waiver review will not come until that review is complete on your account. It may be a couple months past the date of your first processed PSLF form. The Mohela payment tracker only shows payments beginning March 2020, the beginning of the pandemic pause.
