Like my favorite book when I was in high school was the road by cormac McCarthy. Grim tale about the nature of humans after everything collapses. Shows some of the extremes we could go to. It’s still on my list of great books. Now I’ve read more one of my favorite books is a classic by Alexandre Dumas, The count of monte Cristo. Enders Game is absolutely a must read. His character development and the meta story about human greed for power is truly gripping. If you liked Ender's Game, you might like The Circle by Dave Eggers. Ender's Game is a space war dystopia written in 1985, The Circle is a social media dystopia published in 2013. Jeremiah is an excellent book, especially Chapter 1 and Chapter 15. John is probably the best for overall theology of the meaning of Christ's sacrifice but Luke does a great job of clearly pointing out the events that took place. BONUS LEAST FAVORITE BOOK

It’s by Kristen Ashley. One of the best books I have ever read. Loved the MFC, loved the barbarian king (eventually). This is part of a series, but you can read it first no problem.
