Decided to bite the bullet when my Optispark died after Thanksgiving and ordered a Torqhead 24x conversion for my 1995 Corvette. Kit came in in the middle of January and after a little fighting everything is installed and after a lot of double checking and troubleshooting with the owner of Torqhead, he suggested the car may just need to be tuned to run correctly.

The black 24x crank sensors are 12V (LS1 gen3) and the light colored 58x crank sensors are 5V (LS3 gen4). You can get a black front mount cam sensor and use it with a 12V LS1 harness. There is one specific part that they are having issue procuring/getting made.Forget the Opti Spark, contact Paul at TorqHead,com they have a complete 24X system that will plug and play the LT1 with a coil over plug system that does away with Opti Spark. I brought the system last year and it works great. My 94 Z28 now has a 2002 OB2 PCM.
