Pull the bottom of the plastic away from the metal (there are a couple of guides clips) and then GENTLY wiggle the plastic door skin down so that the window guide rails clear the top of the metal door. Only the various bars and info on either side are the only thing that show. Mar 3, 2024 · Brake Wiping. I'm just realizing this, but i think the XC40 does a brake "wipe". I think its been there for awhile and I'm just now noticing it, but at low speeds after the care has been sitting for awhile, it sounds like its braking with the pads and not OPD/motors. I've heard the rubbing sound many times before, but never put 2 and 2 together. Switching vehicle SIM data, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth off and then on again (via connectivity settings) and Resetting the infotainment system have zero effect on this behaviour.
