Do NOT get discouraged by this subreddit or SDN. I've seen some people expressing that this sub and SDN have been kinda discouraging. I felt the exact same way and thus wanted to provide a little bit of advice. R/premed and SDN are extremely useful when you're getting tips, learning different ECs to do, how to strengthen your app etc. Keep on persisting and you will very likely get in. Step 1: Get it out of your system. It's okay to be depressed for a little bit, to cry, and to be angry, and to let these negative emotions have you for at least a little bit. I always relate getting rejected from med school the same as being broken up with by a long time significant other. People generally struggle to sift through the BS on SDN and then come here crying so people can sooth their fears. It's the internet. Pre-meds are neurotic.
