When I started on clays 2 years ago with a sporting 12, I shot a 41. The way I figured to improve was to buy an enclosed equipment trailer to carry my chokes around the course. Then I went to a larger trailer when I combined my choke inventory and my shot inventory which included 7 1/2, 8, 8 1/2 and 9. I could not find 11 or 12's to reload.

For skeet I use .005" and .007" bigger than bore diameter (so negative choke). Trap I'll spin in the 0.015". 5-stand I'll generally use .005 and .010. Sporting clays - generally .005-.015 depending on target distance. More open choke always in bottom barrel, and I never change the barrel selector. The rest of those chokes never get used.
