Yep, the biggest contributor to my issue was iCloud for windows lol as soon as I uninstalled it, it dropped my idle to 40-45 c .. crazy. Yes some of those third party monitoring programs wake the cpu constantly. I check again. I have 7900x and I Idle around 45-50C on a.I realise this is an old thread, but I have set the following (H150i Pro XT RGB) based on CPU Package temperature, not coolant: - 00°C - 60°C - 45%. - 61°C - 70°C - 60%. - 80°C+ - 100%. I don't really use any of those CPU intensive tasks however I do download, decompress a lot of stuff and also install a lot of stuff, all of which are very intensive CPU tasks. I just got a Ryzen 9 7900X and a DeepCool AK620 CPU cooler and noticed that in a couple specific cases it would turn off, primarily in World of Warships but also when I ran a benchmarking test. I looked at Armory Crate and saw that it's idling with CPU temp at 75-85C, and CPU package temp running around 10C hotter than that.
