I’m expecting to get in, because I have 2 generations of legacy to Stanford on both sides of my family, and my parents are also very prominent donors to the Stanford fund. Also, my profile is pretty strong (perfect stats, strong essays and ECs, enough to get me into Princeton).

Princeton is a top notch school, but my belief is that engineering is a better discipline at Stanford. You can't possibly go wrong with this decision, though. Perhaps a deciding factor could be the environment. Princeton is going to have four seasons including a true winter, whereas Stanford will have two, "rainy/cool" and "warm".
