Apex and Bulenox likely use different "System" settings when creating their connections in NinjaTrader. The "System" automatically set in the connections due to the license key. This would be why you have to switch between the two license keys prior to connecting to each prop firm. There is a single-broker license key and a multi-broker.

Tradovate is great, online platform is surprisingly decent, and you can get a CQG connection to any platform that supports it. Ninja Trader has an excellent charting platform and low margin rates. The downside is to take advantage of the full charting software you need to give them $1,000. Another disadvantage of ninja Trader is you only get two free withdrawals per month and after that they charge you plus there is a minimum of $250 per withdrawal.
