Build the 400. You can put you 350 crank in a 400 if you use bearing. spacers 2.45" vs the 400's 2.65" main bearings. As long as you use the 400's heads or have a. new set drilled for the steam holes you should. not have any cooling problems. The "normal" way to build a 383 is a 3.75" stroke. crank from a 400 turned down to 2.45" mains.

If you have a 350 or 383 that is used for street and strip, and it's pumpin out a respectable 350hp+, then, also depending on how it was built, a 650, 700, or 750 will do the job just fine.
