Honda odyssey side door not closing.

Nov 3, 2023 · I have a door open indicator on the dash that is on. I can not close the door electrically or manually. When I pull the handle, the cable does not release the mechanism at the rear post. I have several hours into the project, and now, looking for some additional knowledge. Symptoms: 1. Neither the fob nor the power lock switches will lock/unlock the driver's side sliding door. This is accentuated if the van is parked on an incline like a driveway. The jerkiness occurs more when closing and a couple times have stopped and reversed.
