Reddit favorite books.
Lately I've had a hard time finding a good scary book to read. I read all of Stephen King (Salem's Lot) and Dean Koontz (Phantoms) books. Peter Straub (Ghost), Dan Simmons (Summer of Night) they're okay but not some of my favorite. I decided to give other horror authors a chance and found a few I actually enjoyed.
The first three books of the X-Wing series covers this very nicely, and provides a great look into the military of the New Republic, and gave us some great characters. If you're really invested in them, I'd definitely read the rest of the series, but the events covered in the rest of the novels don't affect the wider galaxy as much.Mar 12, 2023 ... I was intimidated by large book lengths until my starting to read before bed. It's amazing how fast you will fly through a book with even just fifteen minutes a night reading.
