Aug 25, 2023 · If the inside liner is soft - like microfiber, (Fox uses - micro-brushed inner lining to keep your tailgate scratch-free,) it shouldn't leave any scratches or marks. I've used multiple Fox pads with my former Ram 1500 and my R1T and haven't had any issues. It is important to load your bike softly on the tailgate so you don't cause any dings.

The pads don't fit very well and unless someone designs a Rivian specific one I don't think any pad will be that great.
