7 posts · Joined 2021. #1 · Mar 1, 2021. I just received a used Sig Sauer 1911 TACOPS. The grip safety is inoperative. It appears that there is no pressure being being applied to it by the sear spring because it just flops around. The rest of the FCG functions normally. The first thing I was going to try was replacing the sear spring.
