After inspection it was found that the battery acid was in fact low. I could also smell like an electrical burning smell, and felt that the rectifier was extremely hot. Went through 3 plows and 3 winches with my 05 and traded it in for my 2014 with power steering. Both have been problem free, and I haven’t been easy on them.My other choice would be a Yamaha Grizzly.

Only way to really know the year and so on is with the Vin#. The vin tag is usually a small welded tag affixed to the left rear downtube. It should be facing the left rear tire. The 10th digit in your Vin# which is a letter corresponds to the year of your quad. ‘92 is a (N), ‘93 is a (P), ‘94 is an (R), ‘95 is a (S), and ‘96 is a (T).

After replacing it I hooked a test light to the ground and tested the hot wire (blue wire),which had a light which proved power was getting to it. Then when I hit the 4wd button the light went out which showed the hot wire was no longer getting power. Same as when sliding it into diff lock.
